Terms of Service

These terms apply to bionanomics.com and the BioNanomics Lab Scheduler (the “Scheduler”), operated by BioNanomics, a non-profit bio-makerspace in Indiana. By using the Scheduler you agree to them.
Access
The Scheduler is invite-only. Accounts are issued to lab members, volunteers, and student interns at the discretion of BioNanomics lab managers and may be suspended or removed at any time, for example if lab safety rules are not followed. Do not share your account or sign in on someone else’s behalf.
Reservations
- Reserve only the time you intend to use, and cancel reservations you no longer need so others can use the equipment.
- Some instruments require approval by a lab manager before a reservation is confirmed. A requested reservation is not a guarantee of access.
- BioNanomics may cancel or move reservations for maintenance, safety, training, or other lab needs.
- Use of the wet lab and instruments is subject to the lab’s safety and training requirements, which are separate from these terms.
Automated access
API keys issued by an administrator may be used to read the schedule and create or cancel reservations on behalf of BioNanomics lab automation. Keys are the responsibility of the person they were issued to and may be revoked at any time.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, interfere with the service, or use it for anything unrelated to BioNanomics lab work.
No warranty
The website and Scheduler are provided “as is”. BioNanomics is a volunteer-run non-profit and makes no guarantee that the service will be available or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, BioNanomics is not liable for losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
